Northerns Golf was founded by Eisuke Nozawa, a former engineer with a deep passion for golf.

Nozawa’s fascination with headcovers began during his high school years, where he was part of the school golf team. When his performance on the course wasn’t going well, instead of replacing expensive golf clubs, he found a refreshing change by simply switching out his headcovers. This small act gave him a fresh perspective and enhanced his enjoyment of the game. He realized that using his favorite headcover could lift his spirits and make golf even more enjoyable. The name "Northerns Golf" was inspired by the sound of his family name and the school where he spent his formative years.

In 2023, Nozawa began learning sewing techniques, dedicating himself to mastering every aspect of headcover making through daily practice and perseverance. Together with his wife, a skilled knitter, they established a handmade headcover brand that uniquely combines sewing and knitting—a rarity even on a global scale. As a former engineer, Nozawa leveraged his technical background, meticulously prototyping designs to ensure each headcover offered optimal protection for golf clubs. Drawing from his expertise as an optical and color imaging engineer, he also infused his creations with a thoughtful approach to color and texture, creating headcovers that are both functional and visually striking.

From adding personalized embroidery and prints to designing from scratch, we provide a wide range of customization options to create one-of-a-kind headcovers.
